Everybody's Doing It

As Columbia calls for a "River Summit" it continues to deny the value of constructed treatment wetlands. This proven technology is used all over the world to lessen treatment costs and clean waterways. See this link for a blog on another wetland by a fan of that project:

Someday we can all hope Columbia will stop dumping so much phosphorous and nitrogen into the Congaree and really embrace their river. Maybe it will come up at the summit. After all, Cayce is preparing to reduce its load, and Lower Richland can't even afford a plant because of Columbia's load; so maybe it will come up.
